Job Description
Pay: $19.75
Shift: 2nd
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include (not in any priority):
- Maintain a safe working environment (and ensure personal safe working practices).
- Compliance with all employee job safety requirements and regulations required by company policies.
- In the absence of the immediate supervisor, will assume necessary operational and
administrative duties. Able to perform pre - operational inspections and report any concerns .
- Responsible for reporting any quality concerns to the Quality Assurance Management .
- Inspection of the production line(s) and Finished Goods (weight, torque, vacuum, prime) .
- Pull micro samples for all Finished Goods .
- Pull finished good retains (Beginning, middle, End) .
- Verify COA against all incoming raw material and COC specifications or for all packaging materials.
- Verify shelf - life date of all incoming ingredients.
- Create and maintain product master s samples.
- Maintain log and updates of Quarantine area Tests final product against established specifications to ensure product quality is met.
- Ensures that the correct case label, retail label, or inserts are used according to specification.
- Monitors plant operations to assure the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) are met.
- Inform management of any Quality issues or processes that become noncompliant with the specified requirement.
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to the Quality of the product, processes, Quality System.
- Serves as a resource for the production department as needed to ensure quality compliance.
- Performs other Quality Assurance related job functions assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Other duties may apply as required.
Qualification:
- High School Diploma, or Work Experience Equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment .
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Requires intense oral, written, and communication skills. Bilingual a plus (Spanish).
- Requires basic knowledge of computer literate and Microsoft office software.
