Job Title: Kitchen Purchasing Supervisor

Salary: $64, 480.00 + 5% Bonus in 2024

Reports to: Accounting Manager 




Job Purpose: Kitchen Purchasing Supervisor supports all aspects of the Kitchen Purchasing  




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain competitive pricing by seeking multiple quotes from different vendors
  • Kitchen Purchasing Supervisor assists in sourcing products by searching out different vendors.
  • Creating and completing vendor files (credit applications, Insurance, W9s)
  • Kitchen Purchasing Supervisor must obtain vendor agreements: Vendor Letter, MVAs, W9s, COIs, etc.
  • Meet and consult with the Accounting Manager, Kitchen GM, and Group GM on any new vendors




Qualifications: 
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of produce purchasing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong sense of teamwork
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines  
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and write) as this position will require communication to vendors and team. 




Education and/or Experience: 
  • Some college preferred 
  • 3 to 5 years produce experience 




Computer Skills:  
  • Strong Excel (spreadsheets)
  • SAP or similar MRP system




Reasoning Ability:  
  • Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations
  • Strong sense of teamwork
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines
